Troubadour 2.0

Troubadour2.0-1

Troubadour2.0

We are pleased to introduce Troubadour 2.0, a major upgrade to our music theory learning platform (previous version) that now includes mobile applications for iOS and Android devices. This improved version features a major visual redesign based on feedback from early adopters. It offers six learning games tailored to primary and secondary school students, focusing on rhythmic, melodic and harmonic dictation. The latest version includes advanced features such as inverse rhythmic and melodic dictation.

Since its launch three years ago, the Troubadour platform has undergone several evaluations, which showed that various test groups using the platform were able to significantly improve their musical abilities. In addition, longitudinal studies have examined the effectiveness of the Troubadour platform as a remote learning tool during the Covid-19 pandemic, highlighting its adaptability and effectiveness in different educational contexts.

Troubadour 2.0 continues to provide engaging and personalized experiences for different types of ear training and music theory exercises. Designed as a complementary resource to support music theory lessons, the platform offers exercises with automatic task generation and assessment, presented in a new, enhanced visual interface.
