The project is dedicated to improving the quality and usability of open data in Slovenia. Our initiative focuses on the development of a comprehensive methodology for assessing the quality of data published on the Slovenian Open Data Portal (OPSI).
As part of the project we will: (1) conduct extensive research on existing methods and best practices for open data quality assessment in order to develop a customized data quality assessment methodology that meets the specific needs of open data in Slovenia; (2) develop and implement a user-friendly, automated tool to simplify and streamline the data quality assessment process, enabling stakeholders— such as data publishers and application developers— to efficiently assess the quality of datasets; and (3) produce comprehensive documentation and training materials to promote the adoption of our methodology and tool and to support a culture of open data use that improves governance and drives innovation in Slovenia.
