The Metahuman project aims to develop a digital tool to improve the training of professionals conducting forensic interviews with minors and children. Given the sensitive nature of these interviews and the legal regulations in Slovenia, traditional training methods, such as live role-playing, often have limited scalability and effectiveness. This project will introduce a virtual, avatar-based platform that simulates interview scenarios and provides a more scalable and flexible training solution. The tool aims to improve the quality of expert training while supporting the broader digital transformation of the public sector in Slovenia.
Currently, a pilot project has been developed in collaboration with the Children's house. The tool allows the trainer to control the appearance, emotions and actions of the avatar. With Live Link Face, the trainer can control the facial movements of the avatar, making the simulation even more realistic. In addition, communication in text form between the trainer, the student and the observer is enabled to facilitate the learning process.
