CoLoS stands for Conceptual Learning of Science. CoLoS is an association of research teams from many Universities that aims to promote the development of innovative teaching methods in science and technology, and is characterized by a focus on:

learning and understanding fundamental concepts in science
the integration of qualitative and intuitive understanding with quantitative methods
the use of simulation and network-based material.
