The goal of the project is to build electrified versions of folk instruments with simple off-the shelf electronic components like Raspberry-PI attached to various sensors. The instruments should offer original playing gestures and sounds, augmented with new gestures, sounds and effects.
The first instrument built was an electric friction drum, which was also presented at Music Tech Fest in Ljubljana.
